About Us

Denada was founded by two experienced email marketers and two developer-startup entrepreneurs with a goal to make email marketing creative simple and effortless.


For years Alex Williams and Matthew Caldwell witnessed enterprise email teams struggling with long development processes and slow, inflexible timelines. Denada is the brainchild of Alex Williams, who in 2018 started working on a better way to make email, then called "The Weedwacker". Alex theorized that there had to be a better way than email creation within the Email Service Providers (like Salesforce) or stand-alone drag-n-drop interfaces.


With emerging AI tools it now became clear that an entirely new class of email creation platform was possible.


The two partnered with Nick Farina and Kiyo Kubo, two talented developers who have created mobile applications for Vogue magazine, Nike, and The American Museum of Natural History. Nick and Kiyo successfully developed Meridian, a mobile-app software platform that was acquired by Aruba Networks (a Hewlett-Packard Enterprise company).
